  • Does Quooker provide filtered cold water? General

The Cold Water Filter has been designed to allow you to quickly switch from tap water to cold filtered water. Any new Fusion or Flex will now be able to supply cold filtered water via a single push and turn which when engaged will light the tap ring blue. The water passes through an activated-carbon filter which ensures the water tastes and smells better.

With the new CUBE, you can now also dispense sparkling and chilled water from the Quooker tap. Click here to read more.

  • My Cold Water Filter is producing a beeping sound, what is it? Maintenance

    Cold Water Filter Replacement Reminder

The previous lifespan of a cold water filter cartridge was 6 months. The product has recently been improved and the lifespan has now been extended to 12 months and the price of the cartridge will remain the same.

Unfortunately the in-built timer will still sound after 6 months.

If you press and hold the button on the top of the cold water filter for 15 seconds, you should hear a double- beep and the flashing red light will disappear. This will reset the alarm for a complete 6 months.

Please keep in mind as the cartridges now last 12 months the next time it beeps you should press and hold the button to reset it once more without changing the cartridge.

  • What maintenance does a Quooker system require? Maintenance

A Quooker system does not require preventive maintenance. However, if you live in an area with hard water, the Quooker system will require some attention during its lifetime. In areas with hard water, you will become aware of limescale build-up when the flow of boiling water starts to slow down. Every Quooker tap is therefore fitted with a removable nozzle and aerator. When you notice that the flow of boiling water slows down, remove the nozzle and soak the aerator in cleaning vinegar for about one hour. Then rinse off the limescale and screw the nozzle with the aerator inside, back onto the tap. This should increase the water flow.

If the Quooker system still doesn’t provide an optimal flow of boiling water, limescale may have built up in the tank. This means that your tank may need to be cleaned. If this is the case, please contact our service team by completing the service contact form. Our team will then get back to you and will help you find the right solution for your situation.
