Which maintenance set is suitable for my Quooker system?

A Quooker system does not require preventive maintenance. However, if you live in an area with hard water, the Quooker system will require some attention during its lifetime. In areas with hard water, you will become aware of limescale build-up when the flow of boiling water starts to slow down. Every Quooker tap is therefore fitted with a removable nozzle and aerator. When you notice that the flow of boiling water slows down, remove the nozzle and soak the aerator in cleaning vinegar for about half an hour. Then rinse off the limescale and screw the nozzle with the aerator inside, back onto the tap. This should increase the water flow. If the Quooker system still doesn’t provide an optimal flow of boiling water, limescale may have built up in the tank. This means that your tank may need to be de-scaled. For systems produced before 2016, we recommend changing the internals. For these systems, you can order the internals on our website by providing the tank’s serial number. The serial number is located on the side of the Quooker tank. If you have previously changed the internals or your system was produced after 2016, we recommend changing the HiTAC® filter instead. The HiTAC® filter can be ordered here.
